Cricketers have taken to social media in full flow in recent years, showing off their cricketing prowess, their training regiments and their very normal and Pakistani social and private lives as well.


Wahab Riaz and his wife Zaynab have been giving out couple goals to all their followers from pretty much the time they joined social media platforms. Him and his wife send love and appreciation each other’s ways at every opportunity they get. Their strong bond, though, makes perfect sense, especially considering they hurled their way out of a very personal set back, together.

When Wahab Riaz came into cricket as a nippy left handed fast bowler, he developed quite a reputation, and also famously took a five wicket haul against India at the 2011 World Cup. He faded out of the scene for a while, but it was for good reason. His infant daughter got severely ill, and her loving father almost quit cricket to focus on taking care of his daughter. Thankfully, his daughter did not take too long to recover, and the couple now parent a beautiful child.

But Wahab also does his bit for his beloved wife. He decided to give Pakistan’s most favorite Indian song a try, dedicating it to his wife..
