Hailstorms are always a rare sight in UAE since it’s a desert land and it’s mostly hot and humid throughout the year. It made the residents run to shelters and to their homes when small pea sized ice pieces began to fall. It was Friday’s evening and most of the people were out with their families just when hailstorm pounds parts of Dubai.

Due to the unstable weather pattern in most parts of UAE, people are asked to drive safe on slippery roads and to stay home as much as possible since the hailstorm resulted in few accidents on the busy roads.
